EIE Instruments engaged in manufacturing, marketing and Calibration of Scientific Instruments and Testing Equipments for various applications.

About the role:

We are seeking a Liaison Officer to manage and coordinate interactions with government departments at various levels. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of government procedures. The role requires strong problem-solving abilities to facilitate smooth communication and ensure timely completion of tasks. The candidate must have prior experience in liaising with multiple government bodies, traveling across different states in India, and effectively handling official processes. Excellent communication, negotiation, and persuasive skills are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and analyze government tenders on GeM (Government e-Marketplace), e‑procurement portals, and other platforms.
  • Prepare and submit bids, proposals, and tender documents within deadlines.
  • Process Earnest Money Deposits (EMD), Bank Guarantees (BG), and Performance Guarantees (PG) as per tender requirements.
  • Maintain records of EMD refunds and ensure timely follow-ups.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with government departments, PSUs, and tender authorities.
  • Ensure compliance with tender guidelines, eligibility and documentation requirements.
  • Handle registrations, certifications, and approvals required for government contracts.
  • Address queries, objections, and compliance issues with authorities.

Documentation & Coordination:

  • Maintain a database of submitted tenders, EMDs, approvals, and contract agreements.
  • Work closely with finance, legal, and sales teams for smooth tender processing.
  • Keep track of tender amendments

Reporting & Analysis:

  • Monitor tender performance, win/loss analysis, and cost estimations.
  • Provide regular reports on tender submissions, approvals, and refunds.
  • Suggest process improvements to enhance bid success rate.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors in any degree or a related field.
  • Experience: 3–4 years of experience in tender management, government liaison, or procurement.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with GeM, CPPP, E‑procurement portals, and tender documentation.
  • Soft Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and coordination skills.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of government procurement policies, legal compliance, and taxation (GST, MSME benefits, etc.).
