Job summary

Cataler is seeking a proactive IT support and security administrator to monitor logs and alerts from Microsoft 365 Admin Centre, EDR, patch management, SOC tools and firewalls, and to manage IT assets.

You will provide end-user support for hardware and software, triage IT service requests, perform preventive maintenance, implement IT improvements to reduce recurring issues, configure desktops, printers, CCTV cameras, and access for new staff.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security logs and alerts from systems such as Microsoft 365 Admin Centre, EDR tools, patch management systems, SOC tools, and firewalls, whichever are allotted to you
• Provide technical support to staff and end users for hardware, software, and system-related issues.
• Monitor IT service requests, prioritize tickets, and update resolutions or corrective actions in the ticketing system.
• Perform periodic preventive maintenance of IT assets to ensure reliability and performance
• Implement IT improvement initiatives to reduce recurring issues and enhance system efficiency
• Identify and implement cost-reduction opportunities in IT operations and procurement processes
• Configure IT assets (desktops, laptops, software, accounts, and access) for new employees
• Installation and configuration of LAN and Wi-Fi printers
• CCTV IP camera installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
