Job summary

National Institute for Smart Government (NISG) in Bengaluru seeks an IT Support/Systems Admin professional to lead IT operations and resolve incidents, providing end-user support for desktops, laptops, printers, and enterprise applications. • Knowledge of IAM/RBAC and access management policies.

• Perform installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of IT systems.
• Manage IT assets, conduct audits, and maintain asset inventory.
• Handle basic networking (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VLAN, Wi‑Fi) and system administration tasks.
• Support Development and QC environments to ensure high availability and performance.
• Manage user access (IAM), on-boarding/off boarding, VPN access, and RBAC controls.
• Coordinate with Infrastructure, Network, Security, and Application teams for issue resolution.
• Monitor tickets via ITSM tools and ensure SLA compliance.
• Support VC meetings, security systems, and enterprise tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, etc.)

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, and macOS environments
• Experience in IT support, system administration, and troubleshooting
