Job summary

Select Source International is seeking an Engineering Recruiter to identify and attract top engineering talent across our client portfolio in Utilities, Medical Devices, and Aerospace.

You will partner with hiring managers, translate technical requirements into effective sourcing strategies, and engage active and passive candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and networks to build a strong, high-quality pipeline.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Engineering Recruiter
• Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals, technical terminology, engineering functions, and organizational structures
• Demonstrated ability to recruit across a broad range of engineering disciplines
• Experience supporting regulated industries is preferred
• Ability to translate requirements into sourcing strategies
• Experience identifying talent through LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and networks
• Ability to assess candidates beyond keywords and understand their engineering depth
• Experience working with hiring managers and clients to deliver qualified talent
• Strong candidate engagement, communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills
• Ability to manage multiple requisitions while maintaining a quality pipeline
• Demonstrated success in recruiting for niche and difficult engineering positions

Job description

Key Focus Areas

You will be responsible for identifying and attracting high-quality engineering talent across our key client industries, including:

• Utilities Nuclear, Power, Energy, Water, Infrastructure, Transmission & Distribution, and related engineering functions
• Medical Devices – Product Development, R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Validation, Process, and Systems Engineering
• Aerospace – Design, Manufacturing, Systems, Mechanical, Electrical, Avionics, Quality, and related engineering disciplines

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as an Engineering Recruiter, preferably supporting multiple engineering disciplines and industries.
• Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals, technical terminology, engineering functions, and organizational structures.
• Demonstrated ability to recruit across a broad range of engineering disciplines, including Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Manufacturing, Industrial, Systems, Quality, Process, and other specialized engineering areas.
• Experience supporting Utilities, Medical Device, Aerospace, or other highly regulated/technical industries is strongly preferred.
• Ability to understand technical job requirements and translate them into effective sourcing strategies.
• Strong experience identifying both active and passive engineering talent through LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, professional networks, and other sourcing channels.
• Ability to assess candidates beyond keywords by understanding their engineering experience, technical depth, project exposure, industry knowledge, and applicability to the role.
• Experience working directly with hiring managers, engineering leaders, and clients to understand requirements and deliver qualified talent.
• Strong candidate engagement, communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities while maintaining a high-quality candidate pipeline.
• Demonstrated success in recruiting for specialized, niche, and difficult-to-fill engineering positions.
