Job summary

CTC in Chennai, India, is seeking a Senior US Engineering Recruiter to source, screen, and hire top engineering talent across Mechanical, Electrical, Embedded, Software, Manufacturing, Quality, and Automotive fields for US clients.

You will manage the full recruitment lifecycle, sourcing via LinkedIn Recruiter and job boards, screen resumes, conduct interviews, coordinate with managers, negotiate offers, and build a strong talent pipeline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 1–5+ years US staffing/recruitment experience focused on engineering positions.
• Hands-on experience with ATS platforms and sourcing tools; proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, CareerBuilder, Dice.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for engineering and technical positions across the United States.
• Source candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, ATS databases, referrals, networking, and other sourcing channels.
• Recruit for Mechanical Engineers, Electrical Engineers, Embedded Software Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers, and Quality Engineers.
• Conduct resume screening and initial phone/video interviews.
• Evaluate candidates based on technical skills, experience, communication, and cultural fit.
• Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and clients.
• Negotiate offers and facilitate candidate onboarding.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of engineering talent.
• Track recruitment metrics and ensure compliance with hiring processes.
• Stay current with market trends, compensation benchmarks, and engineering talent demand.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience recruiting for contract, contract-to-hire, and full-time roles.
• Hands-on experience with ATS platforms and recruitment tools.Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, CareerBuilder, Dice, and other sourcing platforms.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior recruiting experience within Automotive, EV, Autonomous Vehicle, Manufacturing, or Mobility industries.
