Job summary

Communications Test Design in Bengaluru is seeking an IT Field Engineer to provide onsite IT support across Reliance Retail stores, offices and data centres. You will install, configure and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers and peripherals, and coordinate with central IT teams for L2/L3 issues.

The role requires a Diploma/BE/BTech/BSc/BCA or related IT qualification, 1–3 years of desktop/field IT support experience, and a valid two-wheeler with license.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in IT or a related field is required.
• 1–3 years of desktop/field IT support experience.
• Two-wheeler with valid driving licence is preferred or required depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite IT support at Reliance Retail stores/offices/DCs.
• Install, configure and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers and IT peripherals.
• Troubleshoot LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi and basic network connectivity.
• Handle hardware/software installation, troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Perform break-fix and preventive maintenance.
• Coordinate with central IT/helpdesk teams for L2/L3 issues.
• Maintain incident/service tickets and update resolution status.
• Manage IT assets and ensure proper documentation.
• Travel to different sites as per business requirements.
• Ensure timely resolution of user and infrastructure-related issues.
