Job summary

Team Computers in Gurugram (Haryana) seeks an IT & Field Support Engineer to provide onsite and remote technical support for end-user devices and network infrastructure. The candidate should have hands-on experience in desktop support, networking, hardware troubleshooting, and IT infrastructure management.

You will troubleshoot Windows, configure APs, switches, routers, and assist with LAN/WAN connectivity. Travel to client sites may be required; you will close tickets within SLA.

Qualifications

• Diploma/BCA/B.Sc IT/B.Tech or equivalent.
• Relevant IT support experience in desktop support or field support.
• Hands-on experience with end-user devices and network infrastructure.
• Willingness to travel for client support activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite and remote IT support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows operating systems.
• Configure and troubleshoot APs, switches, and routers.
• Support LAN, WAN, and internet connectivity issues.
• Perform DNS configuration and basic network troubleshooting.
• Handle network cabling, punching, and structured cabling activities.
• Resolve incidents and service requests through ticketing tools.
• Visit client locations for onsite support and issue resolution.
• Ensure timely closure of tickets as per SLA.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT peripherals.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows operating systems.
• Configure and troubleshoot Access Points (APs), switches, and routers.
• Support LAN, WAN, and internet connectivity issues.
• Perform DNS configuration and basic network troubleshooting.
• Handle network cable crimping, punching, and structured cabling activities.
• Understand network cable color coding and crossover cable crimping.
• Resolve incidents and service requests through ticketing tools.
• Install and configure software, hardware, and network devices.
• Visit client locations for onsite support and issue resolution.
• Ensure timely closure of tickets as per SLA.
