Job summary

Prognova is seeking a motivated Field Support Engineer to join our team in Coimbatore. The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of IT field support experience, be willing to travel to client locations, and possess strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

The role involves visiting client sites to install, configure, and troubleshoot computers, networks, and IT equipment, providing on-site hardware, software, and connectivity support, and maintaining documentation.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in IT field support, desktop support, hardware maintenance, or networking.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN, Wi-Fi, DNS, DHCP, IP addressing, routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Experience with computer hardware installation, troubleshooting, upgrades, and replacements.
• Familiarity with Windows, Microsoft Office, and printer installation and troubleshooting.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
