The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of field or desktop support experience, hands-on Windows/Linux skills, basic TCP/IP knowledge, and a valid two-wheeler license for local travel. Telugu and English or Hindi will help in client interactions.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform basic LAN/Wi-Fi troubleshooting and network cabling tasks.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance on client assets.
• Maintain daily site-visit logs and update ticketing portal; obtain sign-offs.

Job Summary

We are hiring a customer-oriented Field Engineer for our Hyderabad and Trivandrum team. In this role, you will be responsible for on-site installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and hardware/network support for clients across Hyderabad.

Key Responsibilities

• On-Site Technical Support: Visit client/site locations across Hyderabad to resolve hardware, operating system, and network issues promptly.
• Installation & Deployment: Set up and configure laptops, desktops, routers, switches, printers, and peripheral devices.
• Network & Cabling: Perform basic LAN/Wi-Fi troubleshooting, patch panel connections, and network crimping.
• Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine health checks and preventive maintenance on client assets.
• Ticket Management & Reporting: Maintain daily site-visit logs, update status on the ticketing portal, and obtain client sign-offs after task completion.

Candidate Profile & Skills

• Experience: Minimum 6month to 2 years of experience in field support, IT desktop support, or hardware engineering.
• Hardware & OS Knowledge: Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux installation, RAM/HDD upgrades, and peripheral troubleshooting.
• Networking Basics: Knowledge of TCP/IP, router/switch configuration, IP addressing, and Wi-Fi setup.
• Mobility: Must possess a valid two-wheeler driving license and a vehicle for local Hyderabad travel.
• Languages: Working knowledge of Telugu and English or Hindi for seamless local client interaction.
