Job summary

SAMSARA SHIPPING is seeking a seasoned sales professional for a national role in freight forwarding. The candidate will generate leads, manage the end-to-end sales cycle, and build strong relationships with shipping lines to price Import/Export sea freight effectively.

Ideal for graduates/postgraduates with 5-7 years of logistics experience, who are smart, presentable, and possess excellent communication skills. This position targets growth and network expansion across India.

Qualifications

• Graduates or Post Graduates with 5-7 years in Freight Forwarding/Logistics.
• Must be smart, presentable and have good communication skills.
• National level role; skilled in Import/Export sea freight pricing with good rapport with major shipping lines.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify potential leads via inbound/outbound methods such as cold calling, emails, and online research.
• Manage the entire sales cycle from lead gen to closing deals.
• Qualify leads, identify needs, and provide solutions.
• Maintain knowledge of the company’s products and services.
• Update CRM with accurate customer and sales data.
• Collaborate with sales team to meet/exceed targets.
• Follow up with prospects to build relationships and convert to long-term customers.
• Assist in developing sales strategies to drive growth.
• Handle objections and negotiate to ensure smooth sales process.

This position is on a National Level and Should be skilled in Pricing of Import and Export sea freight and having good rapport with major shipping lines.
