The ideal candidate has 8-15 years in plant HR and a track record of aligning people processes with production goals.

Qualifications

• 8-15 years of HR experience in a manufacturing or plant environment.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end recruitment for plant roles; coordinate with heads for manpower planning.
• Maintain employee relations; address grievances; run engagement and welfare programs.
• Manage union relations, CBAs, labor disputes; negotiate with unions.
• Oversee attendance, leave, shifts; maintain records; coordinate payroll and benefits.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and statutory acts; coordinate audits.
• Implement performance appraisals; support managers; align goals with productivity.
• Identify training needs; coordinate safety, skill, and compliance training.
• Prepare HR MIS and analytics; monitor attrition and productivity.

Job Summary

Job Title: Plant HR Manager

Department: Human Resources

Location: Bharuch

Reports To: Plant Head / HR Head

Key Responsibilities

• Talent Acquisition: Manage end-to-end recruitment for plant roles (operators, technicians, supervisors, staff). Coordinate with department heads for manpower planning. Conduct interviews and finalize hiring in line with company policies.
• Employee Relations & Engagement: Maintain healthy employee relations within the plant. Address employee grievances and disciplinary matters. Implement employee engagement initiatives and welfare programs.
• Industrial Relations (IR): Manage union relations and collective bargaining processes. Handle labor disputes and ensure smooth industrial harmony. Conduct negotiations with worker unions when required.
• HR Operations: Oversee attendance, leave management, and shift management. Ensure proper documentation of employee records. Manage payroll coordination and benefits administration.
• Compliance & Labor Laws: Ensure compliance with labor laws such as:
• Factories Act 1948
• Industrial Disputes Act 1947
• Employees' Provident Funds and Miscellaneous Provisions Act 1952
• Payment of Bonus Act 1965
• Coordinate statutory audits and inspections.
• Performance Management: Implement performance appraisal processes. Support managers in performance improvement plans. Align employee goals with plant productivity targets.
• Training & Development: Identify training needs for plant employees and coordinate for the training. Conduct safety, skill, and compliance training programs.
• HR Reporting: Prepare HR MIS reports and manpower analytics. Track attrition, absenteeism, and productivity indicators.

Experience

8-15 years of HR experience in a manufacturing or plant environment.
