Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy in Bharuch is seeking an experienced Plant HR Manager to lead HR functions for the plant. The role focuses on end-to-end recruitment, employee relations, union management, HR operations, compliance, and training to align with plant productivity goals.

Qualified candidates will have extensive HR experience in manufacturing, skill in managing payroll, attendance, and leave, and a strong understanding of labor laws and industrial relations.

Qualifications

• 8–15 years of HR experience in a manufacturing or plant environment.

Responsibilities

• Talent Acquisition: Manage end-to-end recruitment for plant roles (operators, technicians, supervisors, staff).
• Employee Relations & Engagement: Maintain healthy employee relations within the plant and address grievances and disciplinary matters.
• Industrial Relations (IR): Manage union relations and collective bargaining processes; negotiate with worker unions when required.
• HR Operations: Oversee attendance, leave management, shift management, payroll coordination, and benefits administration.
• Compliance & Labor Laws: Ensure compliance with major labor acts; coordinate statutory audits and inspections.
• Performance Management: Implement appraisal processes and support managers in performance improvement plans.
• Training & Development: Identify training needs and coordinate safety, skill, and compliance training.
• HR Reporting: Prepare HR MIS reports, track attrition, absenteeism, and productivity.

Job Summary

Job Title: Plant HR Manager

Reports To: Plant Head / HR Head

Key Responsibilities

• Talent Acquisition: Manage end-to-end recruitment for plant roles (operators, technicians, supervisors, staff). Coordinate with department heads for manpower planning. Conduct interviews and finalize hiring in line with company policies.
• Employee Relations & Engagement: Maintain healthy employee relations within the plant. Address employee grievances and disciplinary matters. Implement employee engagement initiatives and welfare programs.
• Industrial Relations (IR): Manage union relations and collective bargaining processes. Handle labor disputes and ensure smooth industrial harmony. Conduct negotiations with worker unions when required.
• HR Operations: Oversee attendance, leave management, and shift management. Ensure proper documentation of employee records. Manage payroll coordination and benefits administration.
• Compliance & Labor Laws: Ensure compliance with labor laws such as:
• Factories Act 1948
• Industrial Disputes Act 1947
• Employees' Provident Funds and Miscellaneous Provisions Act 1952
• Payment of Bonus Act 1965
• Coordinate statutory audits and inspections.
• Performance Management: Implement performance appraisal processes. Support managers in performance improvement plans. Align employee goals with plant productivity targets.
• Training & Development: Identify training needs for plant employees and coordinate for the training. Conduct safety, skill, and compliance training programs.
• HR Reporting: Prepare HR MIS reports and manpower analytics. Track attrition, absenteeism, and productivity indicators.
