Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy in Bharuch is seeking an experienced Plant HR Manager to steer HR operations at the manufacturing plant. The role requires leading talent acquisition, managing industrial relations, payroll coordination, compliance, training, and reporting to support plant productivity.

You will drive employee engagement, ensure statutory compliance, and partner with plant leadership to align HR with production goals and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing/plant HR environment is essential.
• Strong understanding of labour laws and compliance.
• Proven ability to lead end-to-end HR operations and payroll coordination.

Responsibilities

• Talent Acquisition: manage end-to-end recruitment for plant roles and coordinate with department heads.
• Employee Relations & Engagement: maintain healthy relations and address grievances.
• Industrial Relations: manage union relations and CB processes.
• HR Operations: oversee attendance, leaves, shift management, and records.
• Compliance & Labor Laws: ensure adherence to relevant acts and coordinate audits.
• Performance Management: implement appraisals and support improvement plans.
• Training & Development: identify needs and coordinate safety and skill training.
• HR Reporting: prepare MIS and analytics on attrition, absenteeism, and productivity.

Job Summary

Job Title: Plant HR Manager

Department: Human Resources

Location: Bharuch

Reports To: Plant Head / HR Head

Key Responsibilities

• Talent Acquisition: Manage end-to-end recruitment for plant roles (operators, technicians, supervisors, staff). Coordinate with department heads for manpower planning. Conduct interviews and finalize hiring in line with company policies.
• Employee Relations & Engagement: Maintain healthy employee relations within the plant. Address employee grievances and disciplinary matters. Implement employee engagement initiatives and welfare programs.
• Industrial Relations (IR): Manage union relations and collective bargaining processes. Handle labor disputes and ensure smooth industrial harmony. Conduct negotiations with worker unions when required.
• HR Operations: Oversee attendance, leave management, and shift management. Ensure proper documentation of employee records. Manage payroll coordination and benefits administration.
• Compliance & Labor Laws: Ensure compliance with labor laws such as:
• Factories Act 1948
• Industrial Disputes Act 1947
• Employees' Provident Funds and Miscellaneous Provisions Act 1952
• Payment of Bonus Act 1965
• Coordinate statutory audits and inspections.
• Performance Management: Implement performance appraisal processes. Support managers in performance improvement plans. Align employee goals with plant productivity targets.
• Training & Development: Identify training needs for plant employees and coordinate for the training. Conduct safety, skill, and compliance training programs.
• HR Reporting: Prepare HR MIS reports and manpower analytics. Track attrition, absenteeism, and productivity indicators.

Experience

8-15 years of HR experience in a manufacturing or plant environment.
