Key Responsibilities
1. Statutory Compliance & IR
Ensure compliance with all labor laws: Factory Act, CLRA, PF, ESIC, Bonus, Gratuity, Shops & Establishment, etc.
Handle inspections, audits, and liaison with government authorities
Maintain statutory registers, returns, and records
Support harmonious industrial relations at the plant
2. Payroll & Compensation
Oversee monthly payroll processing for staff & workmen
Ensure accuracy in attendance, overtime, incentives, deductions, PF/ESI
Coordinate with payroll vendors and finance team
Handle salary structuring and employee queries
3. Safety & EHS
Implement and monitor EHS policies and safety standards
Ensure compliance with statutory safety norms and audits
Conduct safety trainings, toolbox talks, and awareness programs
Coordinate with safety officers and external agencies
4. Plant Recruitment & Manpower Planning
Handle end-to-end recruitment for plant positions (Workmen, Staff, Engineers)
Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and manpower suppliers
Ensure timely onboarding, induction, and documentation
Workforce planning as per production requirements
5. HR Operations
Employee engagement and grievance handling
Performance management support
Discipline, shift management, and workforce productivity support
Support plant leadership in HR strategy execution
