Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy invites applications for a Plant HR Manager position at Bharuch. The role leads end-to-end recruitment for plant staff, oversees employee relations, IR, payroll coordination, and HR operations to support production targets.

You will ensure compliance with labour laws, drive performance management, and coordinate training and reporting to strengthen workforce productivity and engagement.

Qualifications

• 8–15 years of HR experience in manufacturing or plant environments.
• Experience with labor laws and compliance.
• Strong governance, payroll coordination, and employee relations.

Responsibilities

• Talent Acquisition: Manage end-to-end recruitment for plant roles and coordinate with department heads for manpower planning.
• Employee Relations & Engagement: Maintain healthy employee relations, address grievances, and implement welfare programs.
• Industrial Relations (IR): Manage union relations and collective bargaining processes and negotiations when required.
• HR Operations: Oversee attendance, leave, shift management, payroll coordination and benefits administration.
• Compliance & Labor Laws: Ensure compliance with major laws and coordinate statutory audits and inspections.
• Performance Management: Implement performance appraisals and support managers in improvement plans.
• Training & Development: Identify training needs and coordinate safety, skill, and compliance training programs.
• HR Reporting: Prepare HR MIS reports and track attrition, absenteeism, and productivity indicators.]

Job Summary

Job Title: Plant HR Manager

Department: Human Resources

Location: Bharuch

Reports To: Plant Head / HR Head

Key Responsibilities

• Talent Acquisition: Manage end-to-end recruitment for plant roles (operators, technicians, supervisors, staff). Coordinate with department heads for manpower planning. Conduct interviews and finalize hiring in line with company policies.
• Employee Relations & Engagement: Maintain healthy employee relations within the plant. Address employee grievances and disciplinary matters. Implement employee engagement initiatives and welfare programs.
• Industrial Relations (IR): Manage union relations and collective bargaining processes. Handle labor disputes and ensure smooth industrial harmony. Conduct negotiations with worker unions when required.
• HR Operations: Oversee attendance, leave management, and shift management. Ensure proper documentation of employee records. Manage payroll coordination and benefits administration.
• Compliance & Labor Laws: Ensure compliance with labor laws such as:
• Factories Act 1948
• Industrial Disputes Act 1947
• Employees' Provident Funds and Miscellaneous Provisions Act 1952
• Payment of Bonus Act 1965
• Coordinate statutory audits and inspections.
• Performance Management: Implement performance appraisal processes. Support managers in performance improvement plans. Align employee goals with plant productivity targets.
• Training & Development: Identify training needs for plant employees and coordinate for the training. Conduct safety, skill, and compliance training programs.
• HR Reporting: Prepare HR MIS reports and manpower analytics. Track attrition, absenteeism, and productivity indicators.

Experience

8-15 years of HR experience in a manufacturing or plant environment.
