Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy seeks a Plant HR Manager for its Bharuch plant. You will lead end-to-end HR functions, recruit for operators, technicians, supervisors, and staff, and coordinate with Plant Head/HR Head to align manpower with production goals.

You will manage employee relations, IR with unions, payroll coordination, attendance, leave, and compliance with Labour laws. Strong background in manufacturing HR and performance management is required.

Qualifications

• 8-15 years of HR experience in a manufacturing or plant environment.
• End-to-end recruitment for plant roles (operators, technicians, supervisors, staff).
• Experience with union relations and collective bargaining processes.

Responsibilities

• Talent Acquisition: Manage end-to-end recruitment for plant roles. Coordinate with department heads for manpower planning.
• Employee Relations & Engagement: Maintain healthy employee relations; address grievances and disciplinary matters; implement welfare programs.
• Industrial Relations (IR): Manage union relations and collective bargaining; negotiate with worker unions when required.
• HR Operations: Oversee attendance, leave management, shift management, payroll coordination, and benefits administration.
• Compliance & Labor Laws: Ensure compliance with relevant acts; coordinate statutory audits and inspections.
• Performance Management: Implement appraisal processes; support managers in performance improvement plans.
• Training & Development: Identify training needs; coordinate safety, skill, and compliance training programs.
• HR Reporting: Prepare HR MIS reports and manpower analytics; track attrition and productivity indicators.

Key Responsibilities

• Talent Acquisition: Manage end-to-end recruitment for plant roles (operators, technicians, supervisors, staff). Coordinate with department heads for manpower planning. Conduct interviews and finalize hiring in line with company policies.
• Employee Relations & Engagement: Maintain healthy employee relations within the plant. Address employee grievances and disciplinary matters. Implement employee engagement initiatives and welfare programs.
• Industrial Relations (IR): Manage union relations and collective bargaining processes. Handle labor disputes and ensure smooth industrial harmony. Conduct negotiations with worker unions when required.
• HR Operations: Oversee attendance, leave management, and shift management. Ensure proper documentation of employee records. Manage payroll coordination and benefits administration.
• Compliance & Labor Laws: Ensure compliance with labor laws such as:
• Factories Act 1948
• Industrial Disputes Act 1947
• Employees' Provident Funds and Miscellaneous Provisions Act 1952
• Payment of Bonus Act 1965
• Coordinate statutory audits and inspections.
• Performance Management: Implement performance appraisal processes. Support managers in performance improvement plans. Align employee goals with plant productivity targets.
• Training & Development: Identify training needs for plant employees and coordinate for the training. Conduct safety, skill, and compliance training programs.
• HR Reporting: Prepare HR MIS reports and manpower analytics. Track attrition, absenteeism, and productivity indicators.

Experience

8-15 years of HR experience in a manufacturing or plant environment.
