Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy seeks a Plant HR Manager for our manufacturing plant in Bharuch. You will lead talent acquisition, employee relations, IR, HR ops, compliance, performance management, training, and reporting to ensure plant productivity and adherence to labor laws.

Ideal candidates bring 8–15 years of HR experience in manufacturing, strong union relations skills, payroll coordination experience, and a proactive approach to training and development. This role reports to Plant Head/HR Head.

Qualifications

• 8–15 years of HR experience in a manufacturing/plant environment.
• Experience in handling unions and industrial relations.
• Knowledge of labor laws and compliance.
• Experience in payroll coordination and benefits administration.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end recruitment for plant roles and coordinate manpower planning.
• Maintain employee relations and address grievances; run welfare programs.
• Manage union relations, bargaining, and labor dispute handling.
• Oversee HR operations: attendance, leave, shift management, payroll coordination.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and coordinate statutory audits.
• Implement performance appraisals and support managers in improvement plans.
• Identify training needs and coordinate safety, skill, and compliance training.
• Prepare HR MIS reports and track attrition and productivity.

Job Summary

Job Title: Plant HR Manager

Department: Human Resources

Location: Bharuch

Reports To: Plant Head / HR Head

Key Responsibilities

• Talent Acquisition: Manage end-to-end recruitment for plant roles (operators, technicians, supervisors, staff). Coordinate with department heads for manpower planning. Conduct interviews and finalize hiring in line with company policies.
• Employee Relations & Engagement: Maintain healthy employee relations within the plant. Address employee grievances and disciplinary matters. Implement employee engagement initiatives and welfare programs.
• Industrial Relations (IR): Manage union relations and collective bargaining processes. Handle labor disputes and ensure smooth industrial harmony. Conduct negotiations with worker unions when required.
• HR Operations: Oversee attendance, leave management, and shift management. Ensure proper documentation of employee records. Manage payroll coordination and benefits administration.
• Compliance & Labor Laws: Ensure compliance with labor laws such as:
• Factories Act 1948
• Industrial Disputes Act 1947
• Employees' Provident Funds and Miscellaneous Provisions Act 1952
• Payment of Bonus Act 1965
• Coordinate statutory audits and inspections.
• Performance Management: Implement performance appraisal processes. Support managers in performance improvement plans. Align employee goals with plant productivity targets.
• Training & Development: Identify training needs for plant employees and coordinate for the training. Conduct safety, skill, and compliance training programs.
• HR Reporting: Prepare HR MIS reports and manpower analytics. Track attrition, absenteeism, and productivity indicators.
