Kothari Autobiz in Pune district is seeking an HR Generalist to manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, payroll coordination, and HR operations for Service & Bodyshop teams. The role focuses on policy implementation, attendance tracking, payroll inputs, and employee development.

The incumbent will drive employee engagement, handle grievances, and ensure exit processes are efficient, supporting retention and compliance across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • End-to-end recruitment for Service & Bodyshop manpower.
  • Understand manpower requirements from Service Manager, Bodyshop Manager and departmental heads.
  • Source, screen, interview and coordinate selection of candidates.
  • Maintain vacancy, recruitment and joining status reports.
  • Build a talent pipeline for technicians, service advisors, customer-facing and support positions.
  • Preferably handle recruitment through automobile-industry networks and references.
  • Conduct employee joining formalities and documentation.
  • Coordinate employee induction and orientation programs.
  • Ensure new employees understand company policies, attendance, discipline, safety and workplace practices.
  • Coordinate department-level introduction and joining formalities.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
  • Monitor attendance, leave, late marks, absenteeism and employee discipline.
  • Coordinate payroll inputs, attendance corrections, incentives and other HR-related data.
  • Maintain manpower reports, joining/exit records and employee master data.
  • Ensure implementation of company HR policies at the operational level.
  • Conduct regular employee engagement activities for Service & Bodyshop teams.
  • Identify employee concerns and proactively work towards improving retention.
  • Conduct periodic employee interaction meetings and feedback sessions.
  • Support recognition, appreciation and employee welfare initiatives.
  • Monitor employee morale and highlight retention risks to management.
  • Act as the first point of contact for employee grievances and workplace concerns.
  • Handle employee issues with maturity, confidentiality and fairness.
  • Coordinate with departmental heads for timely resolution of employee concerns.
  • Maintain appropriate records of grievances and corrective actions.
  • Promote a positive and disciplined work environment.
  • Manage resignation and separation processes.
  • Conduct exit interviews and identify reasons for attrition.
  • Coordinate clearance, full & final settlement inputs and exit documentation.
  • Analyse attrition trends and recommend corrective actions.
  • Maintain proper employee exit records.
  • Coordinate monthly PF, ESIC and Professional Tax compliance and related documentation.
  • Ensure timely collection, verification and submission of statutory data.
  • Coordinate with payroll/accounts and external consultants wherever required.
  • Maintain employee statutory records and support inspections/audits.
  • Ensure proper documentation for PF/ESIC-related employee queries.
  • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly HR reports.
  • Maintain manpower, recruitment, joining, attrition, absenteeism and attendance MIS.
  • Provide HR analytics and operational insights to management.
  • Track departmental manpower against approved manpower requirements.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Manpower Planning
