Job summary

ACT Plast Paints in Chennai is seeking an HR professional to manage end-to-end recruitment, coordinate with department heads, and maintain employee records. This role also handles payroll processing and salary inputs with timely disbursement.

You will ensure statutory compliance (PF, ESI, PT, TDS, Labour Welfare Fund) and support HR policy implementation, onboarding, transfers, and exits, along with MIS reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience in end-to-end recruitment and payroll in an Indian context.
• Strong knowledge of Labour laws and statutory compliance.
• Proficiency with HRIS and HR analytics.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment: sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and onboarding.
• Coordinate with department heads to understand manpower requirements and ensure timely hiring.
• Maintain employee records and HR databases.
• Handle monthly payroll processing, attendance, leaves, deductions, incentives, and salary inputs.
• Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing and related documentation.
• Manage statutory compliance for PF, ESI, PT, TDS, Labour Welfare Fund and other regulations.
• Coordinate with consultants and statutory authorities as required.
• Support joining, confirmation, transfers, promotions, and exits.
• Address payroll, leave, attendance, and HR policy queries.
• Assist in implementing HR policies and employee engagement initiatives.
• Prepare HR MIS reports on headcount, recruitment, attendance, payroll, attrition, and compliance.
• Stay updated on labour laws and ensure organizational compliance.

• Prepare HR MIS reports related to headcount, recruitment, attendance, payroll, attrition, and compliance.
• Stay updated on changes in labour laws and statutory regulations and ensure organizational compliance.
