Job summary

Saburi Ply Industries Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Factory HR to manage end-to-end HR operations at our Barasat (Sondalia) factory in Kolkata.

The role requires hands-on Factory HR experience in the plywood sector, strong labour law knowledge, and the ability to handle payroll coordination and IR issues. This is an in-person position with growth opportunities in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of Factory HR experience.
• Experience in a Plywood Manufacturing Company is mandatory.
• Candidates from other industries will not be considered.
• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• MBA/PGDM in HR will be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage complete HR operations for the factory workforce.
• Handle recruitment of blue-collar workers, supervisors, staff, and factory executives.
• Conduct employee onboarding, induction, documentation, and joining formalities.
• Maintain attendance, leave records, overtime, and shift rosters.
• Coordinate payroll inputs with the Head Office payroll team.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable labour laws and statutory requirements.
• Handle employee grievances, disciplinary matters, and domestic enquiries.
• Maintain healthy industrial relations and promote a positive work environment.
• Coordinate performance management and employee engagement initiatives.
• Maintain employee records, HR documentation, and statutory registers.
• Work closely with factory management on manpower planning and workforce optimization.
• Coordinate with EHS/Safety teams to ensure employee safety and statutory compliance.
• Support internal and external audits related to HR and statutory compliance.
• Implement HR policies and organizational initiatives at the factory level.

About the Role
