Job summary

CMS It Services in Jaipur is seeking a Desktop Support professional to resolve hardware and software issues, configure user accounts, and support IT project rollouts. You will troubleshoot a range of devices and ensure secure, reliable operations for end-users.

The ideal candidate has 1–6 years of desktop support experience, strong Windows and network knowledge, and familiarity with Outlook configuration and VPN setup. BA/BA-like degree required, position located on-site in Jaipur.

Qualifications

• 1-6 years of desktop support or related IT services experience.
• Strong knowledge of IP configuration, Windows setup and troubleshooting, and Outlook.
• Experience with PC assembling, network printer installation, VPN, and DHCP management.

Responsibilities

• Provide desktop support to end-users for hardware and software issues.
• Configure new employee accounts and email clients on the LAN/WAN.
• Troubleshoot software, hardware, printers, and applications.
• Provide basic network support and IP config tasks.
• Install and configure software and hardware, maintain records.
• Assist IT projects and rollouts with coordination.
• Handle AV, security, and patch management basics.
• Install Windows and macOS, apply policies and config.
• Maintain logs, backups, and data storage procedures.
• Knowledge of access points and firewalls helpful.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide desktop support to end-users, troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
  
• Configure new employee accounts on the company's LAN/WAN network, including setting up email clients like Outlook.
• Troubleshooting (Software, hardware, printer & application)
• Network support L1 (know how of IP config, MAC binding, basic troubleshooting
• Software and hardware installation, configuration, setup.
• Inventory management (hardware and software)
• Assist business in IT project rollouts.
• AV, Security and Patch management.
• Knowhow of OS installations (windows & macOS), configuration, policy deployment.
• Maintain proper logs and records.
• Ensure data backups and storage.
• Knowledge on Access point / Firewall
• Knowledge on basic network

Desired Candidate Profile

• 1-6 years of experience in Desktop Support or a related field (IT Services & Consulting).
• Strong knowledge of IP configuration, Windows installation/troubleshooting/configuration; Outlook configuration; PC assembling; Network Printer Installation; VPN setup; DHCP management.
• Bachelor's degree in any specialization (B.A./B.C.A.).
