Job summary

TeamLease in India is seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to provide frontline IT support for desktops, laptops, printers, and related devices, ensuring smooth operation of Windows, Office 365, and network services.

You will handle AD user management, software installs, VPN, email clients, asset tracking, and incident documentation, delivering dependable end-user support and upholding IT security policies.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience diagnosing hardware and software issues on desktops and laptops.
• Familiarity with Windows 10/11, Office 365, Active Directory and VPN.
• Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops and peripheral devices.
• Provide first- and second-level technical support to end users.
• Resolve hardware, software, OS, and network issues.
• Manage user accounts and access via AD.
• Install and troubleshoot Windows/Office 365 applications and Outlook.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Engineer to provide technical support for desktop systems, laptops, software applications, printers, and network-related issues. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot hardware and software problems, ensure smooth IT operations, and provide excellent end-user support.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.
• Provide first-level and second-level technical support to end users.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and network issues.
• Manage user accounts, passwords, and access permissions in Active Directory.
• Install, upgrade, and support Microsoft Windows and Office 365 applications.
• Configure and troubleshoot email clients such as Outlook.
• Support VPN connectivity and remote access solutions.
• Monitor and maintain IT inventory and asset management records.
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware warranty and repair services.
• Document incidents, service requests, and resolutions in the ticketing system.
• Ensure compliance with IT security policies and procedures.
• Perform system updates, patches, and antivirus management.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 operating systems.
