Job summary

Ncubate India Services Pvt Ltd. in India is seeking an IT support professional to handle computer hardware including desktops, laptops, printers and barcode devices, diagnose and resolve hardware and software faults, and support LAN/WAN connectivity.

The role involves server-client software installation, Active Directory and firewall management, switch configurations, cable management, barcode connectivity, ticketing, and end-user support with thorough documentation.

Responsibilities

• Taking care of Computer Hardware like desktops, laptops, printers, Barcode printers, barcode scanners and network devices.Diagnosed and troubleshoot the system and network problems and provide solutions for hardware and software faults.
• Troubleshooting of LAN Connectivity, Hardware Troubleshooting of Different kind of desktop, laptops/Servers.
• Monitoring & Troubleshooting of WAN Network Connectivity. Configuration & Installation of Server Client Based Softwares for different types of Clients aligned with HO team.
• Managing and administrating all user domain and accounts. Networking, LAN & WAN troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge of active directory, firewall (Sophos), managed switches (L3, L2 & L1), Network Racks, CAT6 cabling, Fiber cable splicing, Connector RJ45.
• Network Auditing, Knowledge of configure and maintenance of network devices. Provide 1st line technical support, answering support queries via ticketing tool, phone, and email.
• Barcode application troubleshooting and connectivity
• Maintain a good repute of user’s service for all support queries and adhere to all service level agreement.
• Respond to inquiries from end users and help them resolve any hardware or software problems.
• documentation and the proper processing of the ticketing operation. Appropriate management and timely information on the results occurred depending on the priority issues and impact, providing technical support effectively.
• Installation and troubleshooting of inhouse applications.
