Job summary

SuperSeva is seeking an IT Support Engineer to install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows OS on desktops and laptops in a manufacturing environment. You will handle printers, scanners, and mobile devices, and assist with access to business applications.

The role requires basic networking, familiarity with ticketing tools, and strong communication to assist users. Flexibility to work in shifts and adhere to SOPs is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in desktop/Laptop Windows OS support.
• Basic networking knowledge including LAN/internet/proxy settings.
• Familiarity with IT ticketing processes and asset management.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows OS, desktops, laptops, and standard business applications.
• Configure and provide support for printers, scanners, data cards, peripherals, and mobile devices.
• Troubleshoot desktop and laptop hardware and software issues and escalates hardware-related problems to vendors/OEMs when required.
• Configure and troubleshoot internet, proxy, email client, and other connectivity-related issues.
• Provide end-user support and assist users with application access as per standard SOPs.
• Manage disk space, folder sharing, permissions, and user privileges in accordance with company policies.
• Maintain accurate IT asset records, including new machines, asset movements, and configuration changes.
• Handle ticket logging, tracking, escalation, and closure using the designated ticketing tool.
• Coordinate with vendors/OEMs for desktop hardware, software, printer, and other IT-related issues.
• Provide support for video conferencing setup and troubleshooting.
• Assist with LAN, printing, and file services support.
• Follow IT support processes, security policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
