Job summary

Rathi Hydro Projects in Gurugram/Delhi NCR is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager / Senior Manager for Hydro & Infrastructure to drive growth across hydro, infrastructure, and EPC sectors.

The ideal candidate will identify opportunities, build relationships with government bodies, PSUs, EPCs and project authorities, and track tenders and upcoming projects across India. Strong hands-on experience in construction/EPC and major infrastructure programs is required.

Qualifications

• 8–15 years of experience in Business Development, preferably in Hydro Power / Infrastructure / EPC sectors.
• Hands-on experience with construction/EPC projects and knowledge of hydro infrastructure (dams, tunnels, roads, irrigation, underground works).
• Proven ability to identify opportunities, build client relationships and track tender opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in Hydro, Infrastructure and EPC/Construction sectors.
• Develop and maintain relationships with government departments, PSUs, private developers, EPC companies, consultants and project authorities.
• Track upcoming hydro, dam, tunnel, road, irrigation and other infrastructure projects across India.
• Identify potential projects at tender, DPR, pre-bid and planning stages.
• Monitor NITs, tenders, EOI/RFQs and upcoming project opportunities relevant to the company's capabilities.
• Coordinate with Tendering, Estimation, Contracts, Technical and Project teams for bid preparation and submission.
• Evaluate project opportunities based on scope, technical requirements, commercial viability and execution capabilities.
• Prepare and maintain a Business Development pipeline with project details, values, clients, timelines and status.
• Arrange and attend pre-bid meetings, client meetings, industry meetings and technical discussions.
• Develop strategic partnerships, JV/consortium arrangements and subcontracting opportunities where required.
• Follow up with clients and decision-makers through tender award and contract finalization.
• Support management in developing business strategies and annual targets.

About the Role
