Job summary

PhonePe Group is seeking a Business Development Executive to drive merchant onboarding, deepen relationships, and manage strategic accounts in the assigned geography.

You will map competitors, report activity, and collaborate with product and sales teams to tailor value propositions. This role requires strong communication, a drive to perform, and willingness to work in a field sales capacity with two-wheeler.

Qualifications

• 12th+ education qualification.
• Good communication and influencing skills.
• Should have a driving license and two wheeler.
• Minimum B to C field sales experience of 6 months with good performance.

Responsibilities

• Merchant Acquisition: Onboard new OMC merchants' basis understanding of transaction volume and pattern in the assigned geography.
• Relationship Management & Servicing: Engage with identified merchants to strengthen relationship with these merchants and onboard them on more value added products and services.
• Account Management: The PAE's task is to develop a deep understanding and relationship with each account that any competitor finds it an uphill task to onboard the merchant account.
• Competition Mapping: Study, map and report competition activity in assigned geography basis geographical or category based initiatives to enable faster response.
