Job summary

Tata Capital in Konaseema (Andhra Pradesh) seeks a Sales Officer in microfinance to drive disbursements and grow market presence. You will identify JLGs, onboard clients, and guide teams across territories to extend reach.

You will monitor repayments, focus on portfolio quality, and engage clients through regular field visits and center meetings, aiming for strong brand engagement.

Responsibilities

• Achieve disbursement targets with minimum delinquency.
• Identify JLGs and disburse loans to target customers/geographies.
• Develop and manage teams across territories for market penetration.
• Assess potential client base and opportunities for expansion.
• Disbursement, repayment and delinquency management; meet daily/weekly collections targets.
• Follow up on disbursed loans, especially overdue ones.
• Conduct field visits, center meetings and loan applicant outreach.
• Maintain portfolio quality by tracking delinquencies and frauds.
• Build strong client relationships and brand identity.

Job description

• To ensure the achievement of disbursement targets with minimum delinquency
• Identifying Joint liability Groups & disbursed loans, to suit the target customers and geographies.
• Enabling business growth by developing and managing a teams across assigned territories for deeper market penetration and reach.
• Assess potential client base and product acceptability in new regions, areas & opportunities for geographical expansion of operational areas.
• Disbursement, repayment and delinquency management, achieving daily / weekly collections targets
• Makes a close follow up of the disbursed loans, especially of the ones not paying on time.
• Undertake regular field visits, Centre Meeting and loan applicants
• Maintaining portfolio quality by tracking & controlling Normal dues, Nonstarters, Delinquency, & Frauds.
• Build strong client relationships both internally and externally and build a strong brand identification with potential customers.
• Ensuring weekly / daily meetings & visit to centre
