Job summary

Tata Capital in Bareilly is seeking a Sales Officer for the microfinance space. You will drive disbursements, manage delinquency, and lead field activities across assigned territories to expand the customer base.

The role requires familiarity with microfinance operations and JLG models, with fresher candidates considered for junior positions. Local market understanding and strong client engagement are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline.
• Fresher to limited microfinance sales experience.
• Basic understanding of microfinance and JLG model preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure achievement of disbursement targets with minimum delinquency.
• Identify Joint Liability Groups & disbursed loans to suit target customers and geographies.
• Develop and manage teams across assigned territories for deeper market penetration and reach.
• Assess potential client base and product acceptability in new regions and opportunities for expansion.
• Disbursement, repayment and delinquency management, achieving daily/weekly collections targets.
• Follow up on disbursed loans, especially of those not paying on time.
• Undertake regular field visits, centre meetings and loan applicants.
• Maintain portfolio quality by tracking Normal dues, Non-starters, Delinquency and Frauds.
• Build strong client relationships internally and externally and build brand identification with potential customers.
• Ensure weekly/daily meetings and visits to centre.
