Job summary

Tata Capital is hiring a Field Sales Officer to drive disbursement targets in microfinance across assigned territories. You will identify JLG groups, build client bases and supervise a team for deeper market reach.

The role emphasizes managing collections, maintaining portfolio quality and building strong customer relationships while expanding the geographies served by Tata Capital.

Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline.
• Freshers welcome; microfinance sales experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of microfinance and JLG model working preferred.

Responsibilities

• Achieve disbursement targets with minimum delinquency.
• Identify Joint Liability Groups and disburse loans for target customers and geographies.
• Develop and manage a sales team across assigned territories for market penetration.
• Assess potential client base and product acceptability in new regions for expansion.
• Manage disbursement, repayment and delinquency; achieve daily/weekly collection targets.
• Follow up closely on overdue loans and monitor delinquency.
• Conduct regular field visits, center meetings and assist loan applicants.
• Maintain portfolio quality by tracking normal dues, non-starters, delinquency, and frauds.
• Build strong client relationships and brand presence with customers.

• To ensure the achievement of disbursement targets with minimum delinquency
• Identifying Joint liability Groups disbursed loans, to suit the target customers and geographies.
• Enabling business growth by developing and managing a teams across assigned territories for deeper market penetration and reach.
• Assess potential client base and product acceptability in new regions, areas opportunities for geographical expansion of operational areas.
• Disbursement, repayment and delinquency management, achieving daily / weekly collections targets
• Makes a close follow up of the disbursed loans, especially of the ones not paying on time.
• Undertake regular field visits, Centre Meeting and loan applicants
• Maintaining portfolio quality by tracking controlling Normal dues, Nonstarters, Delinquency, Frauds.
• Build strong client relationships both internally and externally and build a strong brand identification with potential customers.
• Ensuring weekly / daily meetings visit to centre
