Job summary

Tata Capital invites applications for a Microfinance Sales Officer role. The incumbent will drive disbursement targets with disciplined delinquency control while building deep customer relationships across assigned territories.

Field visits, centre meetings, and active portfolio management are key responsibilities. Fresh graduates are welcome; prior microfinance exposure or familiarity with JLG models is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline.
• Experience in microfinance sales is a plus.
• Understanding of JLG model helpful.

Responsibilities

• Achieve disbursement targets with minimum delinquency.
• Identify Joint Liability Groups for disbursed loans and target customers/geographies.
• Develop and manage a team across territories for market penetration.
• Assess potential client base and opportunities for geographic expansion.
• Manage disbursement, repayment and delinquency, with daily/weekly collections targets.
• Follow up on delinquencies and non-payers; field visits and centre meetings.
• Maintain portfolio quality by tracking normal dues, non-starters, delinquencies and frauds.
• Build strong client relationships internally and externally and enhance brand visibility.

Job description

• To ensure the achievement of disbursement targets with minimum delinquency
• Identifying Joint liability Groups disbursed loans, to suit the target customers and geographies.
• Enabling business growth by developing and managing a teams across assigned territories for deeper market penetration and reach.
• Assess potential client base and product acceptability in new regions, areas opportunities for geographical expansion of operational areas.
• Disbursement, repayment and delinquency management, achieving daily / weekly collections targets
• Makes a close follow up of the disbursed loans, especially of the ones not paying on time.
• Undertake regular field visits, Centre Meeting and loan applicants
• Maintaining portfolio quality by tracking controlling Normal dues, Nonstarters, Delinquency, Frauds.
• Build strong client relationships both internally and externally and build a strong brand identification with potential customers.
• Ensuring weekly / daily meetings visit to centre

• rs exp + as a sales officer in microfinance business
• Basic understanding about Microfinance business and JLG model working would be preferred.
