Job summary

Tata Capital invites applications for a field sales officer role in Tamil Nadu. The role focuses on microfinance disbursement, repayment, and delinquency management with emphasis on JLG-based products. You will engage with credit groups, perform field visits, and drive market penetration across assigned territories.

Freshers are welcome; candidates with microfinance sales exposure will be preferred. A Graduate in any discipline is acceptable, with strong relationship and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Freshers welcome; prior microfinance sales experience is a plus.
• Basic understanding about Microfinance business and JLG model working would be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Achieve disbursement targets and minimize delinquency in assigned territories.
• Identify Joint Liability Groups for disbursed loans to suit target customers and geographies.
• Develop and manage a team across territories for market penetration and reach.
• Assess potential client base and opportunities for geographical expansion.
• Manage disbursement, repayment, and delinquency with daily/weekly collections targets.
• Follow up on disbursed loans, especially those in arrears.
• Conduct regular field visits and centre meetings with loan applicants.
• Maintain portfolio quality by tracking normal dues, nonstarters, delinquency, and frauds.
• Build strong client relationships and brand presence with customers.
• Attend weekly/daily centre meetings.

• To ensure the achievement of disbursement targets with minimum delinquency
• Identifying Joint liability Groups disbursed loans, to suit the target customers and geographies.
• Enabling business growth by developing and managing a teams across assigned territories for deeper market penetration and reach.
• Assess potential client base and product acceptability in new regions, areas opportunities for geographical expansion of operational areas.
• Disbursement, repayment and delinquency management, achieving daily / weekly collections targets
• Makes a close follow up of the disbursed loans, especially of the ones not paying on time.
• Undertake regular field visits, Centre Meeting and loan applicants
• Maintaining portfolio quality by tracking controlling Normal dues, Nonstarters, Delinquency, Frauds.
• Build strong client relationships both internally and externally and build a strong brand identification with potential customers.
