Job summary

Bajaj Finserv Limited in Rajpura (Punjab) seeks a Branch Operations Manager to strengthen daily operations, ensure policy compliance, and drive gold loan and other financial product performance at the branch level.

You will lead field marketing, customer engagement, staff coaching, and reporting to support branch growth while safeguarding assets and ensuring a healthy pipeline.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of relevant experience required.
• Bachelor's Degree/Post-graduation Degree preferred.
• Previous experience in gold loan banking, gold loan products, management or client service preferred.
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall branch operations and drive performance profitability.
• Drive/participate in field-marketing activities of financial products to improve brand visibility.
• Plan and monitor branch field level marketing to ensure leads and business growth.
• Focus on customer engagement for new acquisitions and retention of existing customers.
• Conduct accurate valuation of gold ornaments pledged in branch with policy compliance.
• Joint custodian of vault and safekeeping of pledged securities.
• Keep NPAs in control through strong follow-ups for interest collections.
• Hire, coach, mentor and train employees with timely performance feedback.
• Maintain quality performance of business and prepare reports for growth.
• Increase Gold Loan business and other third-party products (NCDs, Gold Coins).
• Ensure 100% process compliance in valuation maintained.

Job Purpose

This position is open with Bajaj Finance Limited.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall branch operations, performance profitability of the branch.
• Drive/participate in field-marketing activities of various financial products along with the team to improve brand visibility.
• Plan, conduct, monitor the branch field level marketing activities to ensure healthy pipeline of leads resulting into business conversion and branch growth.
• Focus on customer engagement for new customer acquisitions and retainment of old customers.
• Conducting error free valuation appraisal of gold ornaments being pledged in branch with correct weight purity assessment as per company policy and auditory compliance.
• Joint custodian of the Vault with responsibility of safekeeping of pledged securities as per company policies.
• Responsible for keeping NPAs in control through strong follow-ups from the customers for interest collections.
• Good planning abilities are required for smooth functioning of the branch for developing cohesiveness within the company and co-workers.
• Hiring, coaching, mentoring and training employees and providing them with timely feedback on their performance.
• Maintaining quality performance of the business, preparing various reports of the same and take necessary actions for growth of business in branch.
• Increase Gold Loan business, plus various other third-party products i.e., NCDs, Gold Coins sale etc.
• Responsible for correct valuation maintenance of 100% process compliance at branch.
