Job summary

Bajaj Finance Limited in India is seeking a Branch Manager to oversee daily branch operations and drive profitability. You will lead a team, manage field marketing, and ensure accurate gold ornament valuations with strict compliance while expanding gold loan business and other financial products.

Ideal candidates have 4–7 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor’s or higher degree, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in gold loan banking, gold loan products, management or client service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall branch operations and branch profitability.
• Drive field-marketing activities to improve brand visibility and lead quality.
• Plan and monitor field-level marketing to build a healthy pipeline and business growth.
• Engage customers for new acquisitions and retain existing customers.
• Conduct valuation of gold ornaments pledged in branch with accurate weight and purity assessments per policy and compliance.
• Joint custodian of the Vault with safekeeping of pledged securities as per policy.
• Maintain NPAs control through follow-ups for interest collections.
• Coach, mentor and train branch staff and provide timely performance feedback.
• Prepare branch reports and take actions to drive business growth.
• Increase Gold Loan business and other products like NCDs and Gold Coins.
• Ensure 100% process compliance in valuation at the branch.
• Manage accurate valuation and compliance of pledged assets.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall branch operations, performance profitability of the branch.
• Drive participate in field-marketing activities of various financial products along with the team to improve brand visibility
• Plan, conduct monitor the branch field level marketing activities to ensure health pipeline of leads resulting into business conversion branch growth
• Focus on customer engagement for new customer acquisitions retainment of old customers
• Conducting error free valuation appraisal of gold ornaments being pledged in branch with correct weight purity assessment as per company policy and auditory compliance
• Joint custodian of the Vault with responsibility of safekeeping of of pledged securities as per company policies
• Responsible for keeping NPAs in control through strong follow-ups from the customers for interest collections
• Good planning abilities are required for smooth functioning of the branch for developing cohesiveness within the company and co-workers.
• Hiring, coaching, mentoring and training employees and providing them with timely feedback on their performance
• Maintaining quality performance of the business, preparing various reports of the same and take necessary actions for growth of business in branch
• Increase Gold Loan business, plus various other third-party products i.e., NCD's, Gold Coins sale etc.
• Responsible for correct valuation maintenance of 100% process compliance at branch.
• Manage error free valuation appraisal of gold ornaments being pledged in branch with correct weight purity assessment as per company policy and auditory compliance.
