Job summary

Bajaj Finance Limited is seeking an experienced Branch Manager for its Odisha region. The role oversees daily branch operations, drives profitability, and leads field-marketing to enhance brand visibility while ensuring compliance and customer-centric service.

You will manage a team, focus on acquiring new customers, retaining existing ones, and expanding gold loan offerings along with other financial products.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's Degree or higher preferred.
• Experience in gold loan banking or client service preferred.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee branch operations and profitability.
• Drive field-marketing activities to boost brand visibility.
• Plan and monitor branch field marketing to ensure a healthy leads pipeline.
• Focus on customer engagement for new acquisitions and retention of existing customers.
• Conduct valuation and auditing of pledged gold ornaments with correct weight and purity checks.
• Act as joint custodian of the vault for safekeeping pledged securities.
• Keep NPAs under control through consistent follow-ups for interest collections.
• Hire, coach, mentor, and provide timely feedback on performance.
• Maintain quality performance and prepare reports for growth actions in the branch.
• Increase gold loan business and other third-party products (e.g., NCDs, Gold Coins).

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall branch operations, performance profitability of the branch.
• Drive participate in field-marketing activities of various financial products along with the team to improve brand visibility
• Plan,conduct monitor the branch field level marketing activities to ensure health pipeline of leads resulting into business conversion branch growth
• Focus on customer engagement for new customer acquisitions retainment of old customers
• Conducting error free valuation appraisal of gold ornaments being pledged in branch with correct weight purity assessment as per company policy and auditory compliance
• Joint custodian of the Vault with responsibility for safekeeping of pledged securities as per company policies
• Responsible for keeping NPAs in control through strong follow-ups from the customers for interest collections
• Good planning abilities are required for smooth functioning of the branch for developing cohesiveness within the company and co-workers.
• Hiring, coaching, mentoring and training employees and providing them with timely feedback on their performance
• Maintaining quality performance of the business, preparing various reports of the same and take necessary actions for growth of business in branch
• Increase Gold Loan business, plus various other third-party products i.e., NCD's, Gold Coins sale etc.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree/Post-graduation Degree preferred.
• Previous experience in gold loan banking, gold loan products, management or client service preferred.
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
