Job summary

Bajaj finance limited is seeking a Branch Manager for our Odisha-based branch to oversee end-to-end operations and drive profitability. You will manage field marketing, ensure compliant valuation of pledged gold, and maintain strong customer engagement to grow the business.

The role requires experience in gold loan banking, leadership of branch teams, and a focus on process compliance and reporting for growth and expansion into other financial products.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's Degree/Post-graduation Degree preferred.
• Previous experience in gold loan banking, gold loan products, management or client service preferred.
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall branch operations and profitability.
• Drive field-marketing activities to improve brand visibility.
• Plan, conduct and monitor branch field-level marketing to ensure healthy lead pipeline and business conversion.
• Focus on customer engagement for new acquisitions and retention of existing customers.
• Ensure correct valuation of pledged gold ornaments and audit compliance as per policy.
• Joint custodian of the vault for safekeeping of pledged securities as per policy.
• Maintain NPAs under control through diligent follow-ups for interest collections.
• Plan and coach staff, providing timely feedback to drive branch growth.
• Maintain quality performance and prepare reports for growth of the business.
• Increase gold loan business and other products like NCDs and Gold Coins.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall branch operations,performance profitability of the branch.
• Drive participate in field-marketing activities of various financial products along with the team to improve brand visibility
• Plan,conduct monitor the branch field level marketing activities to ensure health pipeline of leads resulting into business conversion branch growth
• Focus on customer engagement for new customer acquisitions retainment of old customers
• Conducting error free valuation appraisal of gold ornaments being pledged in branch with correct weight purity assessment as per company policy and auditory compliance
• Joint custodian of the Vault with responsibility of safekeeping of of pledged securities as per company policies
• Responsible for keeping NPAs in control through strong follow-ups from the customers for interest collections
• Good planning abilities are required for smooth functioning of the branch for developing cohesiveness within the company and co-workers.
• Hiring , coaching, mentoring and training employees and providing them with timely feedback on their performance
• Maintaining quality performance of the business, preparing various reports of the same and take necessary actions for growth of business in branch
• Increase Gold Loan business, plus various other third-party products i.e., NCD's, Gold Coins sale etc.
• Responsible for keeping NPAs in control through strong follow-ups from the customers for interest collections.
• Responsible for correct valuation maintenance of 100% process compliance at branch.
• Manage error free valuation appraisal of gold ornaments being pledged in branch with correct weight purity assessment as per company policy and auditory compliance.
