Responsibilities

• Oversee overall branch operations and profitability.
• Lead field-marketing activities to boost brand visibility.
• Plan and monitor branch marketing to ensure a healthy lead pipeline.
• Engage with customers for new acquisitions and retention of existing clients.
• Ensure accurate valuation of pledged gold ornaments per policy.
• Safeguard pledged securities as joint custodian of the vault.
• Maintain NPAs through proactive follow-ups on interest collections.
• Hire, coach, mentor and train branch staff with timely feedback.
• Prepare activity reports and drive growth initiatives for the branch.
• Aims to increase gold loan business and other third-party product sales.
• Maintain 100% process compliance in valuation and operations.

Job Purpose

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall branch operations, performance profitability of the branch.
• Drive participate in field-marketing activities of various financial products along with the team to improve brand visibility.
• Plan, conduct, monitor the branch field level marketing activities to ensure health pipeline of leads resulting into business conversion branch growth.
• Focus on customer engagement for new customer acquisitions and retainment of old customers.
• Conducting error free valuation appraisal of gold ornaments being pledged in branch with correct weight and purity assessment as per company policy and auditory compliance.
• Joint custodian of the Vault with responsibility of safekeeping of pledged securities as per company policies.
• Responsible for keeping NPAs in control through strong follow-ups from the customers for interest collections.
• Good planning abilities are required for smooth functioning of the branch for developing cohesiveness within the company and co-workers.
• Hiring, coaching, mentoring and training employees and providing them with timely feedback on their performance.
• Maintaining quality performance of the business, preparing various reports of the same and take necessary actions for growth of business in branch.
• Increase Gold Loan business, plus various other third-party products i.e., NCD's, Gold Coins sale etc.
• Responsible for correct valuation maintenance of 100% process compliance at branch.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 4-7 years of relevant experience required.
• Bachelor's Degree/Post-graduation Degree preferred.
• Previous experience in gold loan banking, gold loan products, management or client service preferred.
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
