Job summary

PeopleStrong seeks a Branch Manager for Gold Loans to lead a retail branch in India. The role focuses on achieving disbursement targets, acquiring customers, and managing end-to-end branch operations.

You will ensure accurate gold appraisal, maintain portfolio quality, and enforce RBI/KYC compliance while developing staff and delivering excellent service to customers.

Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline; MBA preferred.
• 5–10 years of experience in Gold Loans.
• Experience in branch operations, loan processing, and valuations.
• Knowledge of RBI guidelines, KYC, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Drive branch business by achieving gold loan disbursement and revenue targets.
• Acquire new customers and maintain relationships with existing customers.
• Manage branch operations, including loan processing, disbursement, renewals and closures.
• Ensure accurate gold appraisal and valuation per company policies.
• Monitor portfolio quality, collections, NPAs and overall risk.
• Ensure RBI guidelines and internal policies, audits, and KYC compliance.
• Lead, train, and monitor branch staff to improve productivity and service quality.
• Handle customer grievances and deliver excellent customer service.
• Maintain branch security, vault management and operational controls.
