Job summary

GoKhana is seeking an Associate Manager - Operations to oversee cafeteria operations across assigned sites in Mumbai. You will focus on delivering guest delight while ensuring hygienic food service and regulatory compliance.

You will monitor financials, follow SOPs, and coordinate with head office trainings and site managers to maintain service quality and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any field, preferably Hotel Management.
• 3–5 years of work experience in F&B, retail or CRM.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Keen eye for hygiene, cleanliness, grooming, health and safety.
• Excellent knowledge of food & beverage service.
• Well versed with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT).

Responsibilities

• Manage operation and administration of cafeterias assigned.
• Promote guest delight and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Maintain safe and hygienic environment for food & beverage service.
• Understand and monitor financial health of the cafeteria.
• Follow SOPs, attendance tracking, rostering and vendor management.
• Participate in mandatory trainings and train site teams.
• Ensure client service deliverables are met and maintain grooming standards.

About Associate Manager - Operations:

As an Asst. manager you are responsible for the operation and management of the cafeterias allocated to you. These cafeterias may be from the same corporate organization or may be from different organizations. You are expected to promote guest delight and ensure guest satisfaction, all the while maintaining a safe and hygienic environment for the preparation and service of food & beverage at your respective cafeterias. You are also required to have an understanding of the financial health of your cafeteria. In addition to the above, you are expected to be up to date and follow points in areas given below:

• Must have Product knowledge.
• SOPs on day-to-day operations, attendance tracking, rostering, vendor management, employee engagement, admin engagement, escalation matrix, cash management & reporting format.
• Attend mandatory training sessions as & when held by the head office. Conducting Site In Charge training and ensuring all of them are competent in service procedures.
• Understand & meet Client Services deliverables
• Personal grooming standards as set by the company for self and team of experience managers & site managers.

Prerequisites:

• Bachelors in any degree, preferably Bachelor’s in Hotel Management.
• 3 to 5 years of work experience in F&B, retail or any CRM related organization.
• Good command over both written and spoken English.
