Job Purpose:
The Operations Manager is responsible for managing the overall daily operations, profitability, and standard compliance across multiple caf and QSR outlets. This field-based role focuses on driving sales growth, controlling food and labor costs, developing store managers, and enforcing strict brand SOPs. The Operations Manager serves as the key operational bridge between store teams and executive management to deliver a consistent, high-quality guest experience across all locations.

Accountabilities:
- Conduct regular, unannounced store visits and operational audits to ensure 100% adherence to company SOPs.
- Monitor store-level P&Ls, focusing on reducing food cost percentages, labor expenses, and operating overheads.
- Track daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets and implement localized turnaround strategies for underperforming stores.
- Enforce strict food safety, sanitation, temperature logging, and FSSAI hygiene standards in all kitchens and service counters.
- Oversee store inventory cycles, indenting schedules, and stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO) to minimize wastage and stock variance.
- Manage, mentor, and evaluate Store Managers, fostering leadership accountability and reducing staff turnover.
- Partner with HR to manage manpower planning, floor recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing staff training programs.
- Monitor service speed, ticket fulfillment times, and order accuracy during peak operational hours.
- Resolve escalated customer complaints and manage aggregator ratings across platforms like Zomato and Swiggy.
- Ensure product consistency, standard recipe execution, portion control, and presentation across all outlets.
- Coordinate seamlessly with the Central Kitchen, Purchase, Logistics, HR, and Finance departments to clear operational gaps.
- Review daily POS data, wastage logs, and operational reports to present actionable insights to senior management.
- Lead operational readiness, hiring, setup, and handovers for new outlet openings (NTOs).

Known Exp:
- Multi-Unit Management: Proven track record in overseeing operations for multiple fast-paced QSR or caf locations simultaneously.
- Cost & Financial Control: Hands‑on experience in restaurant P&L management, food cost math, wastage control, and labor rostering.
- Systems & Analytics: Proficiency in POS platforms (such as Petpooja or Posist), MS Excel, and operational MIS reporting.
- Leadership & Execution: Strong field leadership skills with the ability to coach store managers and enforce floor discipline.
- Operational Problem Solving: Capability to make quick, data-driven decisions during rush periods and operational breakdowns.

Education & Experience:
Education: Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or Business Administration.
Experience: 5 to 7 years of overall experience in F&B operations, with at least 2 to 4 years in a multi-unit operations management role.
