Job summary

AgroStar in Tumakuru is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to drive revenue across the Seeds, Crop Protection, Crop Nutrition, and Farm Implements portfolio within the defined territory.

You will analyze market trends, collaborate with marketing to heighten demand, and supervise Sales Managers and Expansion Managers while training Saathi partners on product placement and sales processes. This role requires strong leadership and travel up to 80%.

Qualifications

• Graduation in BSc Agriculture mandatory.
• At least 4+ years of Sales experience in Agriculture.
• Willing to travel 60-80% with overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue and growth by achieving sales targets for Agri-Inputs across Seeds, Crop Protection, Crop Nutrition, and Farm Implements in the defined territory.
• Analyze market trends and conduct market research to identify growth opportunities in your territory.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure successful marketing campaigns and drive demand.
• Supervise Sales Managers and Expansion Managers to drive revenue and Saathi partner onboarding.
• Regularly monitor progress, analyze data, and generate reports to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement for your team.
• Work with and train the Saathi partners on product placement of AgroStar products in their outlets.
• Establish short- and long-term goals for the territory and strategies to achieve the same.
• Responsible for Collections from the Saathi partners.
• Collate and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on time.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must have complete knowledge of the local areas of the District
• Should be open to travel at least 60% to 80 % of the time with a limited overnight stay
