Job summary

AgroStar is seeking a seasoned Sales Leader to drive revenue across Seeds, Crop Protection, Crop Nutrition and Farm Implements in the Pune district. You will oversee Sales Managers and Saathi partners, set territory goals, and ensure on-time collections.

The role requires 4+ years in agricultural sales, strong data-driven decision making, and willingness to travel 60–80% with occasional overnight stays to grow market presence and performance.

Qualifications

• Graduation in BSc Agriculture or a related field is mandatory.
• At least 4+ years of Sales experience in the Agriculture industry.
• Ability to multitask.
• Clear, effective decision-making with an emphasis on a data-driven approach.
• Should have managed a sales team before.
• Must have complete knowledge of the local areas of the District.
• Should be open to travel at least 60% to 80% of the time with a limited overnight stay.

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue and growth by achieving sales targets for our Agri-Inputs business across Seeds, Crop Protection, Crop Nutrition, and Farm Implements in the defined territory.
• Analyze market trends and conduct market research to identify growth opportunities in your territory.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure successful marketing campaigns and drive demand.
• Supervise Sales Managers and Expansion Managers to drive revenue and Saathi partner onboarding.
• Regularly monitor progress, analyze data, and generate reports to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement for your team.
• Work with and train the Saathi partners on product placement of AgroStar products in their outlets.
• Establish short- and long-term goals for the territory and strategies to achieve the same.
• Responsible for Collections from the Saathi partners.
• Collate and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on time.
