Job summary

Hilton Hotels in India seeks a training and development professional to lead quarterly Training Needs Analysis with department heads and to drive functional excellence across the unit. You will coach new joinees, nurture leadership capabilities, and support organizational transformation through targeted training interventions.

The role involves preparing annual training plans, coordinating external training providers, and maintaining training records and LD reviews with the Management Committee

Job description

• To carry out Training Need Analysis, together with the concerned deptt. Heads on a minimum once quarterly basis.

• Support departments / functions in developing cutting edge functional excellence and in developing leadership capabilities

• Act as change catalyst in the cultural and organizational transformation

• Provide key inputs of Training aspects for all activities and plans of the unit.

• Reinforce learning developmental initiatives in the unit through supporting individual team development, career development, training experience-based learning.

• Induct, coach and mentor new joinees.

• Interact with the departmental / unit functional heads on a daily basis in areas of people development, providing appropriate support to operational departments.

• Partner in interventions for organizational leadership development, including conducting training programs.

• Monitor and conduct LD reviews with each department, and review the same with unit Management Committee.

• Review training effectiveness in the unit, and review the same with unit Management committee.

• Regularly communicates with staff and maintains good relations.

• To oversee sourcing and select Industrial Trainees / Apprentice Trainees.

• Maintain current information and records of suppliers of training resources and materials.

• Prepare Annual Training plans and calendars for the unit, responding to departmental needs.

• Coordinate training activities being carried out for the unit by external agencies including briefing them about requirements.

• Assist in any inventory / stock taking as / when required for the department.

• Is responsible that effective administration systems are set up and maintained.

• Ensures that all projects, reports, schedules are completed accurately and punctually.

• Ensure all deptt. Meetings organized are well planned, effective and results focused.
