We are looking for candidates for the position of Assistant / Deputy Manager Facility with experience in managing facilities at construction or industrial sites, such as factories, warehouses, steel plants, and power plant projects.
The role requires monthly site visits in PAN India based on operational requirements and management directives.
Role & responsibilities
1. Canteen / Mess Management
- Develop standards for food quality, hygiene, nutrition, menu planning, and vendor performance.
- Manage in-house canteen / mess management & monitor vendor performance against agreed Service Level Agreements
- Monitor food quality, cleanliness, and statutory compliance.
- Conduct periodic inspections and surprise audits.
- Coordinate with site teams to improve employee satisfaction.
- Resolve escalated food-related complaints.
2. Security Management
- Monitor deployment, attendance, and performance of security agencies.
- Develop security policies and standard operating procedures.
- Standardize deployment of security manpower across locations.
- Conduct security audits across project sites.
- Coordinate investigations related to security incidents.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and client security protocols.
3. Accommodation Management (Staff & Labour)
- Ensuring timely availability & standardised accommodation for staff and labour colonies.
- Ensure adequate living conditions, sanitation, housekeeping, drinking water, lighting, and maintenance.
- Conduct regular inspections of accommodation facilities.
- Coordinate with project teams for timely allocation of accommodation.
- Monitor occupancy and optimise utilisation.
4. Transportation Management
- Implement transportation policies and vehicle utilisation guidelines across sites.
- Monitor vehicle deployment, utilisation, and operating costs.
- Monitor driver performance, documentation, and statutory compliance.
- Coordinate transport arrangements during project mobilisation and demobilisation.
5. Gate Pass Management
- Implement standardised gate pass procedures across all sites.
- Ensure effective control over material movement.
- Monitor visitor management systems.
- Conduct periodic audits to prevent unauthorised movement.
- Coordinate with Stores, Security, and Project teams for process compliance.
- Recommend improvements through digitisation and automation wherever feasible.
6. Mobilisation Support
- Coordinate facility readiness before commencement of new projects.
- Ensure timely availability of:
- Staff Accommodation / Labour Colony
- Mess facilities
- Security arrangements
- Transportation
- Prepare facility mobilisation plans.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, HR, Procurement, Administration, and vendors.
- Ensure mobilisation milestones are achieved within project timelines.
7. Site Audits & Rewards
- Conduct scheduled and surprise inspections across project sites.
- Prepare audit reports with observations and corrective actions.
- Track closure of audit findings.
- Prepare monthly/quarterly facility scorecards for each project.
- Collect data and prepare best project facility on quarterly basis
8. Documentation & MIS
- Develop dashboards and management reports.
- Maintain records related to:
- Facility audits
- Vendor evaluations
- Accommodation occupancy
- Transportation utilisation
- Security deployment
- Canteen performance
