Job summary

Kissht is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager to lead the Retail Sales/Business Development function in Namakkal, Tamil Nadu. You will oversee the secured LAP product, drive loan sourcing up to 10 Lakhs, and manage branch performance while coordinating with Operations and Credit teams.

The role requires proven experience in micro LAP business, team leadership of 5–10 people, and strong local market connections to expand the LAP customer base.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in handling secured micro loan against property product (LAP).
• Experience with Micro LAP ticket sizes 200k–1.5M is mandator y.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage the LAP product portfolio at the branch.
• Sourcing loans with ticket sizes up to 10 Lakhs.
• Lead and manage the branch team (5–10 people).
• Ensure branch productivity and profitability (P&L).
• Oversee collections and liaise with Ops and Credit teams.
• Manage DSA/Connectors/Open Market channels and high customer engagement.

RESPONSIBILITY

Building and managing the Micro Loan Against Property (secured) product.

Sourcing loans with a maximum ticket size of 10 Lakhs.

Will be Handling Branches

Ensuring the productivity of the branch.

Overseeing the collections process within the branch.

Managing the Sales Manager and Direct Sales Team (DST).

Managing the branch's Profit and Loss, ensuring profitability.

Handling DSA (Direct Selling Agents), Connectors, and Open Market Channels.

Ensure the files are processed from login stage to disbursement and liaise with internal departments (Operations and Credit) for completion. Ensuring high levels of customer engagement and satisfaction.

Maintaining strong relationships with clients.

Identifying and pursuing opportunities in the open market to expand the LAP customer base.

Planning & execution of market promotional activities QUALIFICATIONS

5+ Years experience in handling secured micro loan against property product

Prior experience in Micro LAP business (2 Lakhs - 15 Lakhs) ticket sizes is mandatory

Have managed a team of 5-10 people

Well-connected and great understanding of local market

Have handled branch setup and branch operations
