Job summary

Joe Duffy Group in Ireland invites applications for a Trainee Service Advisor. You will be the focal point for Kia customers, handling service enquiries, qualifying needs, and explaining work to customers.

The program lasts up to six months with comprehensive training across processes, database management, and customer service. A full driving licence and interest in motor trade are required for this full-time role.

Qualifications

• Impeccable appearance and well presented for corporate environment.
• Good oral & written communication skills.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Able to record accurately all relevant details.
• Ability to 'up sell' additional work / accessories.
• Ability to absorb and understand technical data and explain it to customers.
• A full, clean driving licence is an essential requirement for this role.

Responsibilities

• Be the focal and experienced contact for Kia customers needing servicing or repair.
• Manage information flow between workshop, dealership, and customer, ensuring excellent service.
• Handle all service telephone and walk-in enquiries; qualify service needs and diagnose issues where appropriate.
• Establish agreement with customer on work to be carried out and enter details into workshop system.
• Calculate workshop capacity and manage handover and administration of Customer Service Vehicles.
• Explain work carried out and obtain customer authorisation.
• Liaise with department manager on customer dissatisfaction; follow dealership procedures.
• Adhere to manufacturer service requirements.
• Maintain safe working practices and dealership standards.
• Maintain knowledge of the Kia range and update relevant systems.
