Job summary

The Address Collective in Ireland is seeking a Duty Manager to oversee daily hotel operations and ensure the highest standard of guest service, coordinating across departments to maintain a smooth, efficient operation.

You will have a minimum of two years’ experience in hospitality, proven leadership and people skills, and a proactive approach to delivering service across F&B, reception and rooms, with strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in hospitality or hotel operations.
• Ability to lead a team and manage busy, fast-paced environments.
• Commitment to high standards of customer service.

Responsibilities

• Arrive on time in correct uniform per grooming policy.
• Liaise with manager on prior shift and handover after shift.
• Liaise with General Manager on day-to-day hotel operations.
• Provide supervision across departments (F&B, reception, accommodation) with proactive support.
• Communicate hotel services to guests during check-in and stay.
• Lead shifts within hotel departments as required.
• Ensure staffing levels align with budgets and service standards.
• Assist in weekly stock counts in laundry, alcohol, food, and cutlery.
• Handle guest complaints professionally and courteously.
• Attend meetings and training; comply with health, safety and security policies.
• Ensure HACCP & systems on shift and adherence to company procedures.
