Job summary

SLIG - Management in Ireland is seeking a Duty Manager to ensure the efficient operation of the hotel and all departments on a day-to-day basis, delivering the highest standard of guest service and leading the team in a fast-paced environment.

This role involves coordinating daily shifts, liaising with the General Manager, supervising front desk, F&B and housekeeping, handling guest concerns professionally, and ensuring compliance with HACCP, safety and cash handling procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum Experience 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Arrive on time in correct uniform per grooming policy.
• Liaise with manager on shift handover and report to on-duty General Manager.
• Coordinate day-to-day hotel operations with department heads (F&B, reception, accommodation).
• Inform guests of hotel services and assist with luggage during check-in and stay.
• Cover shifts in hotel departments as required and ensure smooth operations.
• Supervise staffing levels in line with budgets and service standards.
• Assist with weekly stock counts in laundry, alcohol, food, and cutlery/crockery.
• Handle guest complaints professionally and promptly; attend meetings and training.
