Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment in Galway, Ireland, seeks a German Speaking Customer Service Representative. This full-time, permanent role starts on-site with a path to hybrid work after six months, supporting German-speaking customers via phone, email and chat.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer and employee questions/concerns and resolve issues (orders, pricing, refunds etc.).
• Maintain knowledge of facilities, websites, products, promotions, policies and procedures.
• Represent the company in a professional, courteous and efficient manner.
• Complete documentation to in-house standards and follow procedures.
• Report to the Customer Service Team Leader and work with a team of 50 reps.

Job Title: German Speaking Customer Service Representative
Contract type: Full time and Permanent
Hours: Monday – Thursday 9am – 5:30pm and Fridays 9am-4pm. No week-ends.

Salary: €29,400.00

Benefits

Hybrid working policy

For the first 6 months, employees work on-site with the option to then apply for hybrid working 1 - 3 days from home. This depends on individual performance.

Training and Support

The training and support given is excellent, with two department Trainers, a Team Lead and a team of 50+ Customer Service Representatives, there will always be someone on hand to support new starters.

German Speaking Customer Service Rep Job Summary

• Our client is seeking a Customer Service Representative to work in the customer service department handling Global AND German customer queries.
• You will deal with queries via; Telephone, E-mail and Chat. You will predominantly be assisting customers and partners based in German speaking countries.

German Customer Service Rep Job Duties

• Responding to customer and employee questions/concerns in an efficient and effective manner and resolving issues which customers might have regarding company's products which include but not limited to; order queries, price queries, complaints, queries, refunds etc.
• Maintaining knowledge of the company's facilities, websites, products, promotions, policies, and procedures.
• Representing the company in a professional, courteous, and efficient manner
• Complete documentation to in-house standards and be compliant with all in-house procedures.
• Reporting to the Customer Service Team Leader and working within a team of 50 Customer Service Representatives.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Fluency in spoken and written English and German.
• Minimum 1 years’ experience working in a Call Centre or Customer Service environment.
• Good communications skills.
• Excellent telephone and customer service skills.
• This role may suit German speaking applicants that have worked in Customer centric environments, either face to face or office based.
