Job summary

Apleona UK is seeking an experienced Facilities Lead for our site in Carrigtwohill, Cork. The role covers on-site facilities operations and CMMS governance, with direct oversight of hard and soft services and contractor performance.

You will lead health, safety and quality compliance, coordinate staff and training, and maintain strong relationships with the client. This on-site position offers clear career progression and a focus on delivering contract obligations.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant technical discipline.
• Proven experience in facilities operations, compliance, and contractor management.
• Strong CMMS knowledge and ability to monitor performance metrics.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience coordinating Hard and Soft Facilities Services.
• Experience in managing people and training programmes.
• Understand safe working practices and health and safety legislation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all on-site Facilities Management activities and services to meet client obligations.
• Ensure full statutory and regulatory compliance across the site.
• Own and manage the PPM planner and CMMS.
• Oversee subcontractor performance and service delivery.
• Lead client and internal meetings and review operational metrics.
• Negotiate and agree SLAs with suppliers.
• Ensure staffing coverage and staff development and training.
• Oversee Soft Services Delivery (Cleaning and Security).
• Coordinate contractors and ensure documentation is in place before work.
• Ensure health, safety and quality policies are followed.
