Engage People Recruitment in Dublin is seeking an experienced Insurance Account Executive to join a growing commercial broking team. You will own the full client journey, win new business and service established portfolios while collaborating with underwriting, claims and specialist groups.

Qualifications

• Proven experience winning and managing commercial insurance accounts.
• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance across property, liability, motor fleet and specialist lines.
• Experience managing your own book of clients and developing new business.
• Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and win new commercial insurance business across areas such as property, liability, motor fleet and specialist risks.
• Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospective clients, converting opportunities into profitable, long-term relationships.
• Take ownership of an established client portfolio, maintaining high retention levels while identifying opportunities for organic growth and cross-selling.
• Conduct proactive client reviews, understand changing business exposures and identify gaps in existing insurance programmes.
• Design and negotiate appropriate insurance solutions, securing competitive terms from the market.
• Manage new business and renewals from initial engagement through to placement, ensuring all documentation and compliance requirements are completed to a high standard.
• Work closely with underwriting, claims and specialist teams to deliver the best possible solutions for clients.
• Build strong relationships with insurers and key market contacts.
• Maintain a disciplined and commercially focused approach to CRM, pipeline management and business development activity.
